Sample A Day Hostage Situation – Why I hate Godaddy.com
Okay, so I have done a lot of stupid things before, but choosing a company for my hosting that sounds like it was named by some Frat house has got to be the worst. We spent the last six hours in a screaming match with our current hosting company GODADDY.com. Yes our crappy hosting company is godaddy.com. Apparently our site is so popular we have to get a bigger server. We overloaded the hosting account last night shutting us down for at least 8 hours. Of course before they decided to tell us that we needed a better server, they shut us down without prior warning, forcing us to beg (by e-mail no less) to put the site back up (because apparently the actual hosting guys don’t have phones). Needless to say, that did not make us very happy!
We received a few emails claiming broken links, but no one not even superman was gonna get into our website. Mostly, we were worried because we didn’t know exactly how long the hostage situation was going to last. (Hostage as in they have complete control of our site).

For the record she is refering to Godaddy not the free sample for today. According to the sample policy statement they don’t share your information with third parties
congrats on the success. godaddy has ALWAYS creeped me out. That’s why I use doteasy and have been for 2 years now. Fantastic service and not sketchiness. I hope you solve your problems soon!
