Free Travel Guides for United States Destinations
There is a new site offering free travel guides so just about every state in the United States, so you can get the brochures from the tourist bureau before you go. Sure Google can tell you everything about a place, down to the number of ant hills on the State Capitol. So honestly we like the pretty pictures, the way a brochure can say, hey, visit Lake Michigan in winter. It’s like California, only minus 40 degrees, frozen, and hey at least we have sand…
I wish they had Frankfurt, Germany in there because on Monday I’m boarding a Canadian plane and flying off to Frankfurt for about 2 months. I’ll be enjoying my favorite meals Flammkuchen, hot fresh pretzels and of course Muenchener White Sausage… mmmm anyone who goes to Germany needs to try to eat these three things… and of course drink it down with a Mass of Beer (that’s one liter).
