Boycott “Chinese Democracy”, Guns and Roses New Album – SampleADay’s call to action
Last week we reported about the one day only free doctor pepper special coupon in honor of Guns and Roses new album “Chinese Democracy”. Due to some problems with Dr. Pepper’s website from higher than expected demand, they extended their promotion from the original 24 hours to 42 hours, they opened up a phone line for people to call and even gave people free coupons who called customer support for the next entire week.
Recently I read an article on CNN ( click here to read the article) saying that Guns and Roses was threatening to sue Dr. Pepper because they claim some fans have become angry at the band for not fulfilling the offer.
We at SampleADay.com like free Stuff (duh), and appreciate fine folks like the folks at Dr. Pepper that are willing to provide customers with free samples of their products (even if they have a few glitches along the way). We think that it is silly that anyone would threaten to sue a company for providing free samples while helping promote their album. Because of this we are calling for an official Boycott of “Chinese Democracy” and other Guns and Roses Albums. If you like free samples, please join us by NOT purchasing any Guns and roses Albums until they stop threatening to sue Dr. Pepper.
Where is the free sample?
Don’t worry! Stay tuned for the new free samples updated each and every day
What do you think about the boycott? Write us a comment and let us know!

If you really like the music and want the new cd…download it for free from Limewire. This whole world is far to sue-happy. Guns N’ Roses has enough money!

I know! This is such a ridiculous lawsuit, Dr. Pepper provides them w/ free advertising and then it doesn’t go perfectly and then GNR sues? Lame on so many levels.
PS calling in your corporate lawyers isn’t very rock and roll.

I am a huge GnR fan from back in the day but this new GnR is AXL’s own doing. It is HIM and his so-called new band that is causing this so-called law suit.Axl is a complete idiot who has wasted the last 17 years of his life.I will show my support by not buying the “new” GnR album. The old members of GnR are very good guys, have met some of them, this is NOT Guns N Roses this is cry baby Axl deciding to try and file lawsuits against anyone he can to make up for the money he lost while sitting on his behind and not making music all these years.Whaaa Whaaa..maybe Axl needs to get free samples to make him smile…

I don’t listen to rock music anyway…so am happy to boycott Guns and Roses…lol! I do drink Dr. Pepper, however, but wasn’t that disappointed not to receive a free sample…I drink too many as it is!
I agree, if you find that the sample is not available or the link is bad, go on to the next sample! No biggie!

God, what a whiney ass baby. That is so lame. He needs to grow a pair and get over it. He continues to make himself look bad.

No Guns and Roses for us! Whaa, do you need somebody to volunteer to change your dirty diapers and give you a pacifer? Dr. Pepper has my vote anytime.

When I read the CNN article I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that G&R was going to SUE over people getting a free soda. Not only for the people to get their free sodas, but they wanted money for themselves too. What a load of crap!!! Are they worried sales won’t be so great they need to try to get $ from Dr. Pepper? Wow! What G&R should do is say they are sorry and include another free Dr. Pepper coupon with their CD, at their own expense
