Who wants a free sample of post it notes? Who doesn’t want a free sample of post it notes. I have a secret.. I actually invented the post it note. I did it because I was bored. Okay, no I didn’t… it was actually invented by 3M. Some dude was just like, lets make little sticky paper and put it all over my desk… actually he came up with the Idea at church. Well you don’t care about how this free sample came to be, the important part is that you can get it… FREE!

I read about the invention of post it notes in Guideposts a number of years ago. They were originally invented as bookmarks for hymnals.
